Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Laboratory Assistant role based in Ahmedabad. The Laboratory Assistant will support daily testing and analysis of dyes and related materials, following established quality control procedures and safety guidelines. Responsibilities include preparing samples, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, recording and organizing test results, and assisting in routine calibration and housekeeping of the lab. The role also involves collaborating with production and quality teams, reporting any deviations or issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of laboratory processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong laboratory skills, including safe handling of chemicals and basic experimental techniques.
- Candidates should possess experience with laboratory equipment, including routine operation, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Candidates should possess quality control and analytical skills to perform tests, interpret data, and ensure product consistency.
- Candidates should possess clear communication skills for documenting results and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant education such as a diploma or degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related scientific field is preferred.
- Attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and ability to follow standard operating procedures are essential.
- Prior experience in a chemical, dye, or textile laboratory environment is an advantage.
