Front-End Engineer

The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Mid-Level Front-End Engineer to join our growing technology team. You will play a crucial role in building the front-end website and components for our pharmacy and related products, developing our design system, implementing user management features, and creating internal tools. This is an exciting chance to make a significant impact and contribute to the foundation of a transformative healthcare company. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain user-facing websites and applications using ReactJS, JavaScript, NodeJS, TypeScript, and NextJS. Build and contribute to our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across our digital products. Implement user management features, ensuring secure and efficient access for our users. Develop internal tools to streamline pharmacy operations and improve efficiency. Work with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes in a cloud environment, preferably AWS. Translate Figma designs into functional and visually appealing user interfaces. Utilize JIRA for project management and Confluence for technical documentation. Adhere to Agile methodologies in a fast-paced startup environment. Implement and utilize relevant front-end testing frameworks to ensure code quality and reliability. Participate in load testing and performance testing to optimize application performance. Contribute to A/B testing efforts and integrate analytics tools to inform product decisions. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and backend engineers. Utilize GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). Qualifications: 5-8 years of professional experience in front-end development. Extensive experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, NodeJS, TypeScript, and NextJS. Proven experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS. Solid understanding of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Experience translating designs from Figma into working code. Familiarity with JIRA for project management and Confluence for documentation. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Strong understanding of relevant front-end testing frameworks. Experience with load testing and performance testing methodologies. Familiarity with A/B testing and integrating analytics tools. Startup experience is preferred. Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and ambitious. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and a passion for building great products. Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
