Speedways Rubber Company, Jalandhar, a leading manufacturer in the tire industry, is seeking a Lab Technician- Raw Material & WIP Testing to carry out physical, chemical, and in-process testing of tyre raw materials and work-in-process (WIP) materials, including fabric and steel wire, ensuring compliance with defined quality standards and specifications.
Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Conduct routine testing of tyre raw materials such as Rubber compounds, Carbon black, Chemicals, Fabric and steel wire.
- Carry out in-process testing of semi-finished materials such as Calendered fabric, Steel cord/steel wire, Coated materials
- Test fabric for parameters such as Tensile strength, Elongation, Adhesion, GSM, Shrinkage
- Ensure compliance with tyre design and performance requirements.
- Maintain lab registers, test reports, and calibration records.
Requirements:
- Diploma / B.Sc. in Chemistry / Polymer Science / Rubber Technology / Mechanical or related field.
- Hands-on experience in raw material and WIP testing is desirable. Freshers can also apply.
