About R&D:
The R&D organization at ANSR MedTech is being built to support the development, testing, and long-term sustainment of complex, regulated products used at global scale.
This team plays a critical role in engineering excellence, product quality, and operational reliability, working closely with global R&D leaders to deliver against well-defined technical standards, quality systems, and product outcomes.
Unlike a traditional offshore or support model, R&D in India is designed to take on meaningful ownership across the product lifecycle, particularly in areas where scale, focus, and execution discipline are essential.

How the R&D Team Operates:

- The organization is built under a Build–Operate–Transfer (BOT) model with ANSR, with responsibilities expanding as the site matures
- Success is measured by engineering quality, predictable delivery, adherence to quality systems, reduced defects over time, and strong collaboration with global R&D teams.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a self-motivated Test Automation Lab Engineer to join the Research and Development team. The team is responsible for significant contributions to Software project initiatives associated with product development and improvements. This role will work with the software test automation team to manage the physical automation environment and help scale its capabilities. The position is expected to be responsible for maintaining hardware and software automation environments, work closely with IT troubleshoot and solve issues within the automation lab, and help apply creative solutions to scale the environment to provide testing solutions for multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- General administration Windows OS based workstations, basic network connectivity, etc.
- Work with IT team to provision and maintain test automation workstations.
- Installation and maintenance of test automation framework software and peripherals.
- Create and maintain necessary documentation on systems and processes.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
- Recommending and implementing changes supported by evidence collected from thorough performance analysis.
- Respond to requests from test automation engineers.
- Drive plans and projects for upgrades, patches, optimization opportunities.
- Implement automation for repetitive tasks where possible.
- Responsible for lab environment uptime.
- Follow established IT policies and procedures.
Education and Experience:
- 2+ years of desktop support experience preferred.
- The ability to troubleshoot and problem solve using a variety of support resources is a must.
- Knowledge of Industry Standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong eye for quality and attention to detail
- Strong desire to learn on the job and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Comp TIA Certification(s)
- Experience in an AGILE (Kanban/ticket driven) environment.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience facilitating IT hardware/software support for DevOps/CI/CD environments.
- Microsoft Windows and/or Linux system administration
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy and SQL Server.
- Experience in Python.
- Understanding of networking technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
