Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lab Director based in Pune City. The Lab Director will oversee all laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include managing staff, implementing quality control protocols, conducting tests in pathology, microbiology, and laboratory medicine, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting of results. The Lab Director will also monitor equipment maintenance and contribute to knowledge-sharing and training initiatives within the team.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine
- Proficiency in Laboratory Skills and Microbiology
- Experience in Quality Control processes and compliance within laboratory settings
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Master's or doctoral degree in a related field; a medical degree (MD) specializing in pathology is highly desirable
- Familiarity with laboratory safety regulations and accreditation standards
- Should be a certified NABL assessor and should have worked on P&L of Lab.
