Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled L3 Storage Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in storage technologies, software development, and enterprise infrastructure. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level storage systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of storage solutions.
Experience: 7-12 years
Location: Bangalore (Local candidates only)
Mode of Work: Hybrid Mode – 3 days
Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions.
- Follow SDLC best practices in large-scale development environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across OS, network, and storage layers.
- Manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines.
Requirements:
- 7–10 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python, Perl.
- Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
- Experience with SDLC methodologies and best practices.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with:
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- SQL and database concepts
Good to have skills:
Knowledge of storage technologies and protocols:
- Fibre Channel, iSCSI, SCSI
- NFS, CIFS, POSIX
- Object Storage
- SAS, SATA, NVMe, SSD
- RAID, Erasure Coding
Understanding of:
- Distributed / Scale-out storage systems
- File systems and high-availability architectures
- Networking protocols and connectivity
- Client-server and virtualization architectures
- Performance and capacity management
Experience with:
- Enterprise environments (RHEL / Windows Server)
- Container platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
