Argus Consulting Private Limited is looking for an experienced L3 Splunk Monitoring Engineer to join our growing Technology Operations team in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and optimize enterprise Splunk environments.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, reports, and monitoring use cases.
- Analyze logs, events, and telemetry to proactively identify operational issues.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Support and mentor L1/L2 monitoring teams for escalated incidents.
- Improve alert quality and reduce false positives.
- Work closely with infrastructure, application, and security teams.
- Contribute to automation using Python, Shell, or similar scripting languages.
- Ensure monitoring aligns with security, compliance, and operational standards.
- Support capacity planning and platform performance optimization.
Required Skills
✔ 5–8+ years of experience in Splunk Administration/Monitoring
✔ Strong expertise in:
- Splunk Enterprise
- Dashboards
- Alerts
- Log Analysis
- SPL Queries
✔ Experience with:
- Linux & Windows
- Network Monitoring
- Application Monitoring
- IT Operations
- NOC/SOC
✔ Good scripting knowledge (Python/Shell)
✔ Excellent analytical and communication skills
Preferred
- Splunk Certified Administrator/Power User
- Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira)
- Knowledge of cloud monitoring (Azure/AWS)
