Job Summary
We are seeking experienced
L3 Middleware Administrators with strong expertise in enterprise middleware platforms, web servers, application servers, and infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, automation, and operational support of critical middleware environments across enterprise production systems.
The role requires strong hands-on experience with IBM middleware technologies, IIS, Apache, Linux administration, SSL security, and application infrastructure management.
Key ResponsibilitiesMiddleware Administration & Support - Administer and support enterprise middleware environments including:
- IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
- IBM HTTP Server (IHS)
- IBM MQ
- IBM Master Data Management (MDM)
- Microsoft IIS
- Microsoft SharePoint Server
- Apache HTTP Server
- Apache Tomcat
- Perform:
- Installation
- Configuration
- Patching
- Upgrades
- Performance tuning
- Troubleshooting
Web Server & Application Server Management - Configure and manage:
- SSL certificates
- Reverse proxy
- Load balancing
- Clustering
- Security hardening
- Support middleware high availability and failover environments
- Ensure application availability, stability, and performance optimization
Infrastructure & Platform Support - Manage middleware deployments on:
- Linux/Unix servers
- Windows Server environments
- Configure and troubleshoot:
- Apache HTTPD
- IIS
- Tomcat
- IBM middleware stacks
- Support Control-M and Connect:Direct integrations and troubleshooting
Automation & Monitoring - Develop automation scripts using:
- Shell scripting
- PowerShell
- Implement proactive monitoring and alerting for middleware infrastructure
- Optimize middleware operations through automation and standardization
Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for middleware incidents
- Tune middleware applications and web servers for performance and scalability
- Analyze logs, thread dumps, heap dumps, and server metrics
- Ensure adherence to SLAs and operational KPIs
Security & Compliance - Implement middleware security best practices
- Manage:
- SSL/TLS certificates
- Security configurations
- Access controls
- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and operational policies
