Requirement: L2 OpenSource Database DBA ( L2 MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL and Maria DBA)
Exp: 6+Yrs
Location: Bangalore (WFO)
Max Budget: 20-24LPA
- 3 - 8 years of experience in Database Administration on Opensource Database technologies like – MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL Etc,
- As this is for a L2 requirement, candidates should have strong skills in installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of Database flavor's mentioned above including high availability, replication, disaster recovery, patching, backup & recovery, performance tuning, optimizing, and securing Databases in a large environment.
- Experience in Patching, Upgrading and Migration of Databases.
- Good understanding of Linux Operation System.
- Handson experience in atleast 2 Opensource database technologies will be added advantage or willingness to learn and work on other Opensource Databases.
- Ensure that systems comply with defined security standards when it comes to policies to hardening, security, policy enforcement
- Experience in setting up alert monitoring, considering the monitoring tools deployed in the environment
- Excellent troubleshooting skills. Should be able to resolve any issue related to Databases independently. Should be able to quickly isolate the problem and provide resolution to meet the SLAs
- Excellent documentation skills. Should have prior experience in creating design documents, SOPs etc.
- Flexible working in 24x7 operations (working in shifts, on-call support etc.)
- Should have excellent communication and presentation skills as the candidate needs to work with Architects, Service Owners, Business Leaders and other technical teams
- Should be a team player
- Good understanding of ITIL processes Incident, Problem, Configuration and Change Management (ITIL)
- Flexible to learn other opensource database technologies as per project requirements
