Purpose:
Own end to end L&D interventions at the zonal level. Manage stakeholders as well as internal L&D team to execute programs in a timely fashion with clear deliverables established. The role ensures strong stakeholder collaboration, end-to-end planning, audit readiness, and performance improvement through structured training governance and selective field engagement.
Responsibilities:
1. Stakeholder Management & Governance
· Partner with Zonal Business Heads, AVP, RM, State Heads, and Functional Leads to understand capability needs and align training priorities.
· Drive zonal training governance rhythms – monthly reviews, business dashboards, capability scorecards, audit observations, and action planning.
· Ensure Regional Trainers deliver all mandated programs to quality and timeline; review their performance and provide coaching/guidance.
· Ensure alignment of training plans with new product launches, policy updates, compliance guidelines, incentive changes, and business priorities.
· Coordinate with L&D core team for curriculum updates, new module development, TTTs, and certification processes.
· Conduct periodic training and process audits to ensure adherence to L&D SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements; drive corrective actions with Regional Trainers and relevant stakeholders.
· Review zonal training MIS, quality of reporting, data accuracy, and adherence to training SOPs.
· Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams (HRBP, Collections, Operations, Risk, Compliance) to ensure smooth execution of capability programs.
2. Training Planning & Execution Oversight
· Conduct periodic field visits to audit training effectiveness, observe coaching quality, and ensure on-ground adherence to process.
· Support regional trainers in delivering critical programs – Induction, Behavioral and Leadership (Branch, middle managers and bespoke).
· Rigorously drive digital learning interventions at the field levels.
· Responsible for driving all mid to senior capability development programs. Will lead zonal delivery of leadership learning journeys, create and curate any specific need based learning
interventions and ensure consistent quality, structured follow‑through, and readiness for next‑level roles.
· Identify regional performance gaps through audits, business metrics, and feedback; create structured interventions to address them.
· Ensure training material remains updated and localized for zonal requirements.
· Partner with National L&D teams to design and refine blended learning journeys that address zonal and regional capability needs, ensuring seamless integration of digital, classroom, and on‑the‑job components.
· Create and monitor learning intervention efficacy through structured assessments, feedback, and post‑training performance improvements (relate to business metrics as possible); ensure continuous improvement of all zonal training programs
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in any stream. MBA preferred.
· Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in training. Background in MFI/ NBFC/ BFSI is preferred.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with basic hold on graphic design ability.
· Thorough understanding of training processes.
· Ability to moderate large groups.
· Extremely organized and detail oriented.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Other considerations:
- Open to travel 10-12 days a month at least
