Description
This role is responsible for operating a sandblasting booth in a safe and efficient manner while meeting all required quality standards.
Essential Job Duties
- Sets up, operates, and maintains blast cabinet to safety and cleanliness standards.
- Uses sandblasting equipment to clean parts to quality requirements.
- Works in a team-based environment and has a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications and Competencies
- Education: Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience: Entry level. No experience necessary.
- Technology: Basic computer literacy.
- Physical: Ability to sit or stand for an extended period of time and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge and Competencies: Good math skills, able to communicate in English, and able to understand and follow oral and written English instructions.
- Other: Reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications and Competencies
- Previous experience in machining or manufacturing.
