Kyocera has a temp-to-hire position for a San Diego at our San Diego, CA facility. Candidates selected for hire will be hired through one of Kyocera’s approved staffing partners. This position may lead to a direct hire offer with Kyocera International, Inc.
Pay is $19.25/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION
Furnace Operator 1 (PHG3021)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Load/Unload parts as per loading instruction for HTCC/MTCC/LTCC furnaces.
Load dummies (empty stacks) as needed. Prepare seal ring of sintering process. Perform remote load process per loading instruction. Take readings on furnace and record (Ability to record the accurate data by observing the meter & displays). Data entry in Excel. Perform minor maintenance on furnace such as spray rails, remove debris from external rails etc.
Follow priority list. Fill out paper forms & log in the SAP system. Perform SAP transactions. Maintain P5s standards work area.
Able to lift or push up to 51 pounds. Provided carts & trolleys. Fine motor skills such as pick smaller parts using tweezers, occasional use of microscope.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Requires a minimum of 6 months - 1 year of related experience.
The task requires one to turn, bend, twist frequently. Stand for extended period.
Available to work on weekends & holidays as the furnace needs to be maintained round the clock.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform remote load process per loading instruction.
- Take readings on furnace and record (Ability to record the accurate data by observing the meter & displays).
- Perform minor maintenance on furnace such as spray rails, remove debris from external rails etc.
- Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Has little or no role in decision-making. Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Works under close supervision.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
