Detailed Role Description

Core Responsibilities

Value Strategy & Outcome Ownership

  • Own the value case from initial deal shaping through delivery and sustainment, ensuring benefits are clearly defined, baselined, measurable, and owned by the business.

  • Translate strategic objectives into quantifiable value drivers, KPIs, and financial metrics aligned to client priorities (revenue growth, cost takeout, productivity, risk reduction, experience improvement).

  • Maintain continuous line‑of‑sight between transformation initiatives and enterprise value goals, shifting focus from output tracking to outcome realization.

VRO Setup, Governance & Orchestration

  • Establish and run the Value Realization Office as the value control plane for large programs, integrating portfolio governance, benefits management, and executive decision forums. 

  • Design and lead cadence structures (SteerCo, value reviews, intervention forums) focused on decisions, trade‑offs, and corrective actions, not status reporting.

  • Partner with Strategic PMO, finance, and functional leaders to ensure accountability for benefits remains embedded in delivery and operating models.

Delivery Leadership & Intervention Management

  • Act as the senior delivery integrator across multiple workstreams (technology, process, change, workforce), identifying value risks early and driving targeted interventions.

  • Anticipate value leakage (scope drift, adoption gaps, KPI dilution, ownership breakdowns) and proactively course‑correct through data‑driven insights.

  • Ensure benefits realization continues beyond go‑live, with clear handover to operations and business owners.

Agentic & Data‑Driven Value Enablement

  • Operationalize AI‑enabled VRO capabilities including automated value tracking, variance detection, scenario simulation, and prioritization of interventions.

  • Oversee integration of multi‑source data (financial, operational, delivery, adoption) into a single value narrative for executives.

  • Transition clients from manual, slide‑based reporting to near–real‑time value steering and decision support.

Client & Executive Engagement

  • Serve as trusted advisor to CXO‑level stakeholders on value trade‑offs, investment decisions, and transformation progress.

  • Communicate complex value insights in clear, executive‑ready narratives that drive action, confidence, and sponsorship.

  • Support account teams in shaping follow‑on opportunities tied to value acceleration and sustained benefits realization.

People, Capability & Practice Contribution

  • Lead and mentor VRO managers and analysts across multiple engagements; set quality and rigor standards for value delivery.

  • Contribute to VRO capability evolution, playbooks, templates, and AI use cases based on delivery feedback and lessons learned.

  • Actively support GTM efforts by bringing delivery credibility into pursuits, proposals, and client value workshops.

    Required Experience & Profile

    • 12+ years in large‑scale transformation, consulting delivery, or enterprise programs with direct accountability for business outcomes.

    • Proven experience leading benefits realization, value management, or outcomes‑focused PMO/VRO constructs.

    • Strong understanding of financial metrics, business cases, and value tracking across complex portfolios.

    • Experience working with C‑suite and senior executives in high‑stakes transformation environments.

    • Demonstrated ability to orchestrate across technology, process, change, and workforce streams.

    • Exposure to data‑driven or AI‑enabled delivery models strongly preferred.

    Role Differentiators (Why this is not a traditional PMO role)

    The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $143,640 to $273,000 based on a full-time schedule.  

    Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience.  For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.

    The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

    There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

    California (San Francisco Bay Area):$172,440 to $327,600 

    California (All Other):$158,040 to $300,360 

    Colorado: $143,640 to $273,000 

    Massachusetts$143,640 to $300,360 

    New York City: $172,440 to $327,600 

    Washington: $158,040 to $300,360 

    Washington DC:$158,040 to $300,360

    This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off.  Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
