Description
Join Lake Lawn Resort as a Full-Time Houseperson and help keep our housekeeping operation running smoothly. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role supporting room attendants and ensuring guest areas stay clean, organized, and ready.
Position Details
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Shift: Day Shift (Mornings, Weekends as needed)
- Department: Housekeeping / Hospitality
What You’ll Do
- Stock and maintain housekeeping carts, linen rooms, and supply areas
- Remove soiled linens and trash from guest floors and transport to designated areas
- Vacuum hallways, stairwells, and common areas
- Deliver guest-requested items (cots, cribs, refrigerators, etc.)
- Sweep patios and assist with light exterior cleaning
- Move furniture and assist with room setup as needed
- Support room attendants by keeping floors clear and organized
- Respond to guest requests and communicate needs to the team
- Follow all safety, cleanliness, and service standards
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
- Availability for morning shifts and weekends as needed
- Strong work ethic and ability to stay active throughout the shift
- Team player with a positive, helpful attitude
- Ability to work independently and follow direction
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
Work Environment
- Indoor and outdoor work in a high-volume resort setting
- Exposure to varying temperatures (hot, humid, cold)
- Moderate noise level
- Physically active, fast-paced role
