In Oracle human capital at PwC, you will specialise in providing consulting services for Oracle human capital management (HCM) applications. You will analyse client requirements, implement HCM software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of Oracle HCM applications. Working in this area, you will enable clients to optimise their human resources processes, enhance talent management, and achieve their strategic objectives.
Key Job Responsibilities
Responsible for successful end to end delivery and management of large scale global projects. This role involves in-depth understanding of processes across various WFM modules and the ability to define various strategies and leading teams. Manager will both drive and manage teams of various sizes and interact closely with multiple cross-functional teams (sales, functional, PMO, testing, etc.).
- Understand business case, process/functional/technical requirements, challenges in today’s workforce management, lead process design workshops to identify gaps and propose recommendations
- Play lead roles preferably on multiple Workforce Management Understands project status, understands project lifecycle, manage mitigation of risks and issues, set up change control processes and escalation points
- Manage and track staffing plan and forecast resource availability based on project budgets
- Work closely with customer, technical and functional teams to deliver project scope on time, on budget and with high quality deliverables
- Establish open, fluid, and timely communications with all interested parties, stakeholders, and project teams
- Use prior experience to develop accurate work estimates, project budgets and timelines
- Ensure client satisfaction targets are achieved
- Lead the delivery team, drive desired professional behaviors and motivate the team to the highest levels of performance and ensure that team resources have the best conditions to perform successfully
- Ensure functional and integration teams are aligned and also work closely with the team for successful HR and payroll integration
- Exercise required controls and propose improvements as required, including quality plans, issues and action logs, risk management plans and change control plans, for all aspects of the assignment
- Manage SLAs and projects/CRs plan effectively
- Drive Innovation/Process improvements including, but not limited to, automations, conversational bots, etc.
- Ensure business and assignment risks and issues are identified, monitored, and managed to achieve minimal disruption to the project delivery and success – across stakeholder management, scope, timeline, and resources
- Act as an WFM subject matter expert by providing best-practice guidance on UKG (Kronos), Infor (Workbrain), Payroll & WFS (Workforce Software) business processes
- Responsible for adhering to the current project management methodology while influencing best practices, process improvements, and procedures
- Mentor associates and foster a learning and growth environment
Additional Responsibilities
- Establishing the vision, strategic direction, standards and framework for the delivery of WFM services that aligns and integrates with Clients’ business priorities.
- Participate in the technology and service delivery activities such as Building (configuration), Testing (develop criteria, scripts, scenarios, and data cases for testing systems and applications), Training (Training the trainer, Class-room, Knowledge transfer, material preparation) and Deployment (Go-Live support).
- Provide insight and expertise into the solution configuration based on previous work experiences and leading practices
- Participate in solution design and requirements gathering These will include engaging and interviewing client subject matter experts, facilitating workshops, reviewing client-provided materials and documentation.
- Demonstrate accountability and contributions to the successful realization of client goals
- Be able to review manual processes and define scope for automation/ improvement
The Key Skills Required Are As Follows
- 15+ years of proven experience with at least 10+ years in UKG WFM (Kronos)
- Worked on 5 plus full cycle implementation projects.
- Passionate and energetic to understand business and client challenges, and able to articulate point-of-view, and work collaboratively towards solutioning
- Design/architecture experience in Workforce Management, Payroll, Time/Labor
- Experience with WFM application integration technologies
- Should have experience in leading large disparate teams in a global delivery model
- Ability to leverage Workforce management subject matter expertise to provide hands on guidance on projects, sales pursuits etc.
- Ability to grow and stabilize WFM practice by building capability and bringing in more business for WFM by actively participating in sales pursuits / proposals, estimations, pricing etc.
- Ability to support the growth of talent within the practice through recruitment, mentorship and coaching
- Masters in Human Resource Management is desirable
- Strong analytical/problem-solving abilities, Strong interpersonal skills, Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in teams and interact across all levels, Ability to deal with ambiguity and work pressure
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Word, PowerPoint and Visio
