Responsibilities
• Assist in the management of day-to-day technical administration of the Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close System( FCCS) Platform
• Ensure compliance with appropriate Federal, Firm, and contractual policies, procedures, and controls within Oracle FCCS and related processes
• Support the FCCS Administrator in timely support and issue resolution, most critically during the month end account close and financial planning cycles
• Assist in the maintenance of metadata, business rules, scripts, and other objects within FCCS as business requirements change
• Assist in the analysis, design, and development of new reports and system enhancements
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of Oracle FCCS interfaces and automation
• Become familiar with all aspects of the application, including reports, parameters, business functions, intake, testing, user access & provisioning and deployment processes
• Assist in the management of end-user support
• Ensure smooth month-end, quarterly and annual close, consolidation, reporting, and forecast/budget cycles through close partnership with Finance and IT business partners
• Observe and monitor the operational performance of assigned applications and proactively alert the Lead Administrator of any potential issues that can result in a loss of operational effectiveness
• Perform appropriate maintenance activities including managing data hierarchies, creation of grids/forms and edition
• Manage data integration feeds and processing activities and resolve issues in the different FCCS environments
Qualifications
• Qualifications: Graduate (Commerce)
• A graduate must have 4-7 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big 4 firm
• At least 5 years of FCCS administration experience, including metadata maintenance, creation of data forms, data grids, process management, task workflows, consolidations, and managing and approving user access
• At least 5 years of experience using FDMEE (Oracle Financial Data Management Enterprise Edition)
• Experience in Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service ( EDMCS) and Narrative reporting
• Strong analytical skill for data transformation, extraction, and loading (ETL)
• General understanding of Oracle product migration methods and technologies
• General knowledge of general ledger systems and financial closing procedures
• Ability to lead new development and maintain existing FCCS applications and customizations
• Ability to interface with IT and business users to quickly correct problems and develop solution
• Skillset: MS Advance Excel (Expert), MS PowerPoint (Advanced), Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close System (Expert), Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management, SQL, Alteryx, VBA
