The position in discussion is with the Managed Services team, part of our Consulting team.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Management Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain periodic MIS reports (monthly/quarterly/annual) for management review
  • Support preparation of P&L, cost center reports, variance analysis, and dashboards
  • Ensure timely and accurate closing of books in coordination with accounting teams
  • Assist in preparation of budget vs actual analysis and management presentations

Cost Accounting

  • Maintain and analyze cost structures, including product, project, process, or departmental costs
  • Track and analyze standard vs actual costs, identify variances, and provide actionable insights
  • Support cost allocation, absorption, and apportionment across departments/projects
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements

Controls, Compliance & Audit Support

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and accounting policies
  • Support internal and statutory audits by providing required data, schedules, and explanations
  • Assist in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
  • CA /CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) – preferred
  • 2–6 years of relevant experience in reporting, cost accounting, or management accounting

 

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of cost accounting concepts and management reporting
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables); ERP knowledge preferred
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly
  • Good coordination and stakeholder management skills
