JOB DESCRIPTION:
Experience- 6 -8 Years of SAP WM experience.
SAP WM OR stockroom management (s4 version of WM)+ SAP MM + implementation and S4 hana ( Minimum 1 S4 implementation)
Role summary –
We are seeking an experienced SAP IM/WM Consultant with strong functional expertise in Inventory Management and Warehouse Management. The consultant will be responsible for system configuration, business process mapping, enhancements, support, and integration with other SAP modules. The role requires hands-on experience across at least one full SAP implementation lifecycle with strong client-facing skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and support SAP IM and WM implementations, rollouts, and enhancements.
- Analyze business requirements and map them to SAP IM/WM solutions.
- Configure SAP IM processes including:
- Goods Receipt / Goods Issue.
- Stock types and stock transfers.
- Physical inventory processes.
- Inventory valuation integration.
- Configure SAP WM processes including:
- Warehouse structure (warehouse number, storage types, bins, sections).
- Putaway, picking, transfer orders, and stock removal strategies.
- Cross-docking, replenishment, and physical inventory.
- Integrate SAP IM/WM with other modules such as: MM, SD, PP, QM, FI/CO
- Prepare functional specifications and work closely with ABAP teams for custom developments
- Support UAT, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with strong root cause analysis
- Provide end-user training and create functional documentation
- Ensure adherence to best practices and SAP standard processes
SAP Warehouse Management (WM) responsibilities:
- Design and configure warehouse organizational structures (warehouse numbers, storage types/sections/bins), stock removal/putaway strategies, and replenishment.
- Set up and optimize inbound processes (GR, deconsolidation, HU management, putaway) and outbound processes (pick/pack/ship, staging, loading), internal movements and physical inventory.
- Implement Handling Unit (HU) and packaging specification strategies; enable GS1-compliant labeling and barcoding standards.
- Establish physical inventory processes (cycle counting, continuous, and annual counts) and exception handling; leverage Warehouse Monitor and KPIs for visibility and control.
Integration and technical oversight
- Collaborate with ABAP/technical teams on WRICEF/RICEFW design and realization (interfaces, enhancements, forms, reports).
- Leverage Fiori apps and S/4 innovations to simplify processes and elevate user experience.
Role requirements
- Hands-on SAP consulting experience spanning Inventory Management, and Warehouse Management on SAP S/4HANA; at least 1-2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
- Proven ownership of end-to-end delivery for small to mid-sized projects; strong PM/engagement management fundamentals and deadline discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of:
- Inventory Management (IM)
- Warehouse Management (WM – classic)
- Strong understanding of:
- MM integration points
- WM–IM interface
- SD deliveries and PP integration
- Demonstrated experience preparing BPDs, configuration docs, Functional Specs, test plans/scripts; managing SIT/UAT and cutover.
- Proficiency with WRICEF/RICEFW, interfaces, and enhancements; collaboration with technical teams.
- Data migration experience using LSMW, LTMC, and SAP S/4 Data Migration Cockpit.
