About the role

We are looking to hire a data analyst to join our data team. You will take responsibility for managing our master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases. A data analyst collects and stores data on sales numbers, market research, logistics, linguistics, or other behaviors. They bring technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of that data, then process, design, and present it in ways to help people, businesses, and organizations make better decisions. Role & Responsibility: Assist in research and benchmarking assignments – either as a part of an ongoing client engagement, or as a part of business development efforts conducted by the entity Work with appropriate supervision and guidance from Senior Analyst/Team Lead/Assistant Manager/ and independently lead simpler modules of projects Help project managers in interpreting client requirements through initial research Understand benchmarking process and be familiar with template driven benchmarking products and solutions Working knowledge of research and benchmarking databases and KPIs that are used for different research/benchmarking activities Articulate findings through use of clear, concise, and grammatically correct business English (both written and verbal) Ensure effective presentation of client deliverables – prepare client ready presentations that are well structured, logical and clear to understand Deliver error free output while adhering to internal/external timelines Basic Qualifications BBA/B.tech/B.Com/Any Graduate Degree from Tier 1 or Tier 2 College 0-1 years of relevant experience in a similar role, particularly in a leading consulting firm. (e.g. other Big 4, global investment bank, leading research house), will be preferred Technical skills: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly strong understanding of PPT and Excel Highly articulate with excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data and draw meaningful insights Experience in preparing reports, thought leaderships, media articles, industry landscapes, company analysis and regulatory updates, will be good to have Good knowledge of secondary research sources (e.g. S&P Capital IQ, Refinitiv) would be an advantage Good knowledge of Data tools such as Power BI and Alteryx would be an advantage Behavioral / team skills Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail Prioritization and effective time management skills Effective team player
