The World Times, a reputable news website headquartered in New Delhi, India, is offering an exciting Korean Media & Pop Culture Writer Internship for aspiring writers eager to gain hands-on experience in covering the Korean entertainment and cultural industry.
Position: Korean Media & Pop Culture Writer Intern
Location: Remote
Type: Unpaid Internship
Duration: 2 months
Responsibilities:
Write 3–4 engaging articles per week on K-pop, K-dramas, Korean celebrities, cultural trends, and industry news.
Research trending topics and pitch creative story ideas.
Conduct interviews with influencers, artists, or industry professionals when required.
Ensure accuracy, originality, and high editorial standards in all content.
Collaborate with the editorial team to refine articles before publication.
Optimise articles with SEO-friendly headlines, keywords, and formatting.
Stay updated with global K-culture and entertainment trends, events, and award ceremonies.
Assist in content repurposing for social media platforms (short-form captions, teasers, etc.).
Requirements:
Strong writing and research skills with an engaging storytelling style.
Passion for K-culture, K-pop, K-dramas, and digital media.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with SEO, WordPress, or other CMS is a plus.
Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of journalism, communications, media studies, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Previous writing experience (published work, blog, or portfolio) is a plus, but not mandatory.
