Role Description The Language Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Ghaziabad. This role involves providing high-quality language services, including translating written materials and interpreting spoken communication across assigned language pairs. The Language Specialist will craft clear, accurate written content, edit and refine language for consistency, and adapt messaging to suit different audiences and formats. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with internal teams and clients to understand communication needs, ensuring linguistic and cultural accuracy, and maintaining documentation and terminology resources. The role also includes supporting cross-functional projects, meeting deadlines, and contributing to process improvements in language service delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Translation and Interpreting, with the ability to convey meaning accurately across languages.
- Proficiency in Language Services and Communication, including clear, culturally sensitive interaction with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent Writing skills for creating, editing, and adapting content in at least one primary working language.
- Attention to detail and strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and style in relevant languages.
- Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Linguistics, Translation, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in professional translation, interpretation, or language service environments is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Ghaziabad, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines consistently.
- Familiarity with basic office productivity tools; experience with translation or terminology management software is an advantage.
