About the role

A strategic, data-driven growth engineer to help us identify, build, and scale new acquisition channels for Shelf. This person will be responsible for designing, running, and measuring high-impact experiments—whether that means seeding interest on different platforms, optimizing SEO, automating outreach, or unlocking new viral loops that we haven't yet considered. The goal is to establish a presence and machine that can reach millions of users via word-of-mouth. Responsibilities Build, track, and iterate on growth experiments to drive user acquisition and engagement. Optimize SEO, landing pages, and virality mechanics to improve discoverability and conversion. Identify new distribution channels—whether it's community-driven, referral-based, or something nobody else is thinking about. Automate outreach and engagement efforts (e.g., mass DMing, email sequences, programmatic content distribution). Work cross-functionally with design, engineering, and marketing to ensure growth opportunities aren't blocked. We're early stage, so you'll have an outsized equity stake and an unparalleled opportunity to shape the company's direction.
