Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Konkani Cuisine Chef, located in Dapoli. The role involves preparing authentic Konkani dishes, curating and developing traditional and innovative menu items, and ensuring the highest quality standards in food preparation and presentation. The chef will also manage inventory, ensure proper hygiene standards, mentor kitchen staff on traditional techniques, and collaborate with the team to create a unique culinary experience that highlights Konkani cultural heritage.
Qualifications
- Experience in preparing traditional Konkani dishes and innovating with regional recipes.
- Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, seasoning, and plating techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and experience maintaining high hygiene practices.
- Team leadership abilities, including mentoring and managing kitchen staff effectively.
- Creativity in menu development and the ability to adapt recipes to cater to varied tastes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to oversee kitchen operations efficiently.
- Formal culinary training or equivalent professional experience in regional cuisines is an added advantage.
- Passion for promoting and preserving the heritage of Konkani cuisine.
