At Kongsberg Digital, we're looking for a Data Visualization Specialist who thrives at the intersection of analytics and design. This role is ideal for someone who not only understands the nuances of data analysis but also knows how to bring data stories to life through intuitive dashboards, charts, and interactive visual tools. As part of a collaborative, cross-functional team, you'll play a key role in shaping how data is understood and used across the organization. You'll support decision-makers by translating data into visuals that are both beautiful and impactful, helping to drive meaningful change. If you're detail-oriented, technically skilled, and have a strong sense of visual storytelling, we want to hear from you. Required competencies: • Master's degree in Design with a specialization in data visualization or similar fields • 3+ years of experience in a design role, managing and mentoring teams of designers • Extensive experience in data visualization with a proven track record of visualizing complex data sets • Deep understanding of analysis methodologies • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of visualization skills, including experience with complex interfaces and data-rich applications • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment • Proven track-record of significant project delivery Desired competencies: • Ability to analyze secondary data sets from diverse sources • Experience of collaborating with other research specialists and the design team • Ability to design, build and analyze data patterns and tell stories about the data • A broad range of research studies conducted • Extensive experience with qualitative and quantitative data sets • Experience with project management • Extensive range of data analysis methods Diversity & Inclusion: At Kongsberg Digital, we celebrate diversity and strive for inclusivity.
