Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a dual role in ensuring the successful execution of projects while managing client relationships effectively. This position requires strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with a focus on driving project success and maintaining client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management :

  • End-to-End Project Management: Lead and manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, resource allocation, budget management, risk management, and timelines.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Reporting & Documentation : Provide regular project status reports, maintaining clear documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Process Improvement: Work within the PMO to enhance project management processes, ensuring consistent application of best practices across all projects.

Account Management

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining strong, positive relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Client Communication: Facilitate regular communication with clients regarding project updates, issues, and resolutions.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for expanding business with existing clients and support new business proposals.
  • Contract & Financial Management: Oversee client contracts, manage billing, invoicing, and ensure project profitability.
  • Customer Feedback: Collect and act on client feedback to ensure continuous improvement and client satisfaction.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with project teams, including developers, designers, and QA teams, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Team Mentorship: Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to project team members, helping to foster a collaborative and productive working environment.

Required Skills & Experience

Project Management Expertise :

  • Strong background in project management methodologies, tools, and processes, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Experience managing client accounts, handling customer queries, and maintaining long-term client relationships.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
  • Communication & Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present project updates and business insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Budgeting & Financial Oversight: Experience in managing project budgets, financial forecasting, and contract management.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to project challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working within the [insert specific industry if needed, e.g., IT, software development, marketing, etc.].
  • CRM Tools: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • PM Tools: Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, Trello, or Smartsheet.
  • Business Development: Previous experience in account management or business development is an advantage.
