Relationships with Residents, Families, and the community are at the core of this role. You will maintain the memory care community departments in a professional setting with organizational and management success as a licensed nurse. You will manage a portion of a Senior Living Campus effectively and profitability in accordance with company standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops an organized and therapeutic environment for Memory Care Community residents.
- Assists with hiring and onboarding Community staff with the appropriate training and support.
- Coordinates staffing and responsibilities to meet the needs of the residents and community. Assures quality of care and services.
- Provides adequate care to address resident medical needs.
- Maintains budgetary standards and goals.
- Supports treating all Community members with dignity and respect, alongside resident rights.
- Provides concise and accurate documentation, including staffing and human resource issues.
- Provides a working environment to assure staff satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must be drug-free and submit to urinalysis drug screening upon hire and routinely.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.
- The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Koelsch Communities.
Supervisory Requirements:
This role assists in overseeing the Campus Memory Care Community, abiding by Koelsch Senior Communities standards. Reports directly to the Campus Executive Director.
Licenses, Certifications, & Education Required:
- Experience in memory care or geriatrics management preferred.
- Current and unencumbered license to practice professional nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of employment.
- Possesses any other licenses or certifications (Food Handlers, CPR, etc.) as required by state law.
Uniform and Appearance Requirements:
Professional business wear abiding by the Community dress code policy.
Position Equipment:
This role is subject to approval of access to a company credit card dependent on the needs of the community (subject to Community credit card policy), a cell phone, and laptop for work use.
Carry / wear earpiece and handheld radio and respond appropriately to calls as needed.
This position is responsible for all equipment and property assigned to the community currently or in the future.
Work location and Travel Requirements:
This role is a 100% on-site role with travel required on an as-needed basis.
