About the role

The Commodity Trading Analyst's primary responsibility will be to support the physical and financial trading of commodity products, including natural gas, crude oil, refined products, and power. This role will work closely with traders, market analysts, risk managers, and other stakeholders to help make informed trading decisions, identify market trends, and monitor risk exposures. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze market fundamentals, price movements, and trade data to identify opportunities and risks - Assist traders with gathering and interpreting market intelligence, such as supply/demand balances, infrastructure updates, and regulatory changes - Develop and maintain forecasting models and market outlooks to support trading strategies - Monitor and report on trading positions, risk metrics, and portfolio performance - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance trading processes and systems
