Software Engineer - Voice Infrastructure

We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer - Voice Infrastructure to own the end-to-end SIP-trunk integration for our AI-powered voice agent.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure SIP trunks in FreeSWITCH to connect our telephony network with the Voice AI platform.
• Develop and maintain dial plans, gateway profiles, and module interfaces to ensure reliable call setup, teardown, and media routing.
• Collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers to wire ASR/TTS engines into the call flow, optimizing latency and audio quality.
• Implement security best practices (TLS/SRTP, digest authentication, ACLs) and monitor call performance metrics.
• Troubleshoot complex SIP signaling and media issues, perform load-testing, and fine-tune FreeSWITCH for high concurrency.
  
  

Requirements

• Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of FreeSWITCH (and/or Kamailio/OpenSIPS/Asterisk).
• Hands-on experience, deep familiarity with SIP protocol nuances, and a track record of building stable, secure VoIP integrations.
