Scale Operator

We are hiring a Scale Operator for our Medford, OR operation.  In this position you’ll operate the scales for aggregate sales, weighing trucks for ticketing and invoicing. This position will be located at our aggregate site in Murphy, OR.

• Wage: $20.00– $24.00 per hour
• Benefits: Full non-union benefit program 
• Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday – Friday

Major Job Responsibilities will include:

• Operate the scales to weigh in-bound and out-bound trucks. 
• Generate tickets for each load with load weight, material type and customer information for invoicing.
• Provide material pricing quotes for in-person and phone customers.
• Process cash and credit card sales.
• Reconcile daily transactions.
• Provide administrative support for other office personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience working in a professional office environment. 
• Prior experience with a sand and gravel aggregate materials company is preferred. 
• Proficient operating a personal computer with various Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be personable, organized and dependable.
