What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT governance framework, including policies, standards, and processes, aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices
  • Ensure IT strategy aligns with Knauf IT's transformation objectives and Knauf strategy, maximizing the value contribution of Group IT
  • Lead the creation, communication, and implementation of IT policies, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements
  • Establish and monitor governance KPIs and performance metrics to track compliance, effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment, engagement, and adoption of governance practices, while promoting accountability through training and awareness initiatives

Who you are

  • Hold a degree in Business studies, Computer science, or a related field, supported by relevant professional experience in IT governance, compliance, and strategy development, ideally in a global or manufacturing environment
  • Possess deep knowledge of governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 9001), with proven expertise in developing policies, standards, and frameworks aligned with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements
  • Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing opportunities for governance improvement
  • Bring along a leadership mindset, with the ability to motivate teams and drive alignment across regions, while maintaining a mindset of continuous improvement in governance practices
  • Exhibit excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, fostering collaboration across IT and business teams, with proficiency in English and German
