About the role

KKR is looking for an Associate to join our Portfolio Operations team in the United States. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the operations of KKR's private equity portfolio companies, with a focus on value creation initiatives, operational improvements, and driving performance. This includes working closely with portfolio company management teams, KKR deal teams, and functional partners across KKR to identify and implement strategic, operational, and financial initiatives that drive growth and profitability. Key responsibilities include: - Evaluating portfolio company performance and identifying opportunities for operational improvements and value creation - Developing and implementing initiatives to drive operational excellence, including lean manufacturing, procurement, supply chain optimization, and other operational initiatives - Analyzing and interpreting financial and operational data to generate insights and recommendations - Partnering with portfolio company management teams and KKR deal teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives - Collaborating with KKR's functional partners (e.g., IT, HR, ESG) to drive value-creation initiatives - Preparing presentations and reports for KKR management and investment committees - Contributing to the overall development of the Portfolio Operations team and KKR's value creation capabilities
