Trainee Software Test Engineer- Fresher

We are seeking a motivated Fresher in Software Testing to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will assist in validating software applications to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements. You will collaborate with developers and other team members to identify and document defects, execute test cases, and contribute to the overall quality assurance process. Key Responsibilities: - Understand application requirements from the functional specifications - Create test cases, test scenarios, and test data for the complete test coverage - Actively participate in walk-through of testing procedures - Perform test execution in different test environments and maintain all test deliverables - Ensure that all testing-related work is carried out as per the defined standards, procedures and schedule - Collaborate with other team members - Must be agile in his approach and ready to take up new challenges - Ensure quality bug reporting, tracking and overall status reporting - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and bug-free software delivery Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent troubleshooting skills - Good organizational and problem-solving skills - Should have a positive and learning attitude - Good understanding of software testing concepts - Should be good at documenting tests, test results and defects - Basic knowledge of database concepts, SQL queries and API - Strong knowledge of OOPS concepts, Java/Python/JavaScript Programming Language - Hands-on experience in designing and writing programming scripts - Able to express work fluently and convince stakeholders
