Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Kitchen Manager, located in Canada.
Role & Responsibility
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow
- Supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and helpers
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of supplies
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards (FSSAI guidelines)
- Control food costs and minimize wastage
- Plan menus in coordination with chefs and management
- Train and mentor kitchen staff for performance improvement
- Handle vendor coordination and procurement
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
- IELTS Required
