About the role

Job Description:

The CNA @ The Cardinal at North Hills is responsible for the delivery of quality care by encouraging independence and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being.

 

 

Schedule: Full Time 7am-3pm (includes every other weekend)
Pay Range: $17 - $20+ 


Paid Vacation / Sick Time /  7 Paid Holidays

Free Meal each shift

 

 

  • CNA: must be licensed in North Carolina verifiable through online registry

 

 

What will I do every day?

  • Monitor residents’ well-being in a general way and report any changes in condition to the appropriate associate/department immediately
  • Assist residents with simple requests as needed or find appropriate associate to assist
  • Learn resident preferences for opportunities to provide exemplary customer service, exceed resident expectations and enhance resident satisfaction
  • Supervise or assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation and other activities of daily living
  • Provide companionship and develop strong resident relatio

 

 

What will I need to be successful in this role?

  • Bring a smile to work every day
  • Be a great team player
  • Be a high school graduate   
  • Have a completed a Nursing Assistant course (State approved, if required)

 

Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?

  • Must be 21 years of age (or meet state requirements)
  • Have current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Have completed the required training, and/or certification (according to state) for assisting with medications
  • CNA if required by state
