Description
Job Title: Pipelayer
Location: Salt Lake City Area (Project Sites Throughout Utah) *Projects are primarily located throughout the Greater Salt Lake City area. Travel between job sites may be required*
Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 hourly *Depending on job stability on resume & years of pipelaying experience*
Responsibilities:
- Install or repair sanitary or storm-water sewer systems
- Dig trenches and locate pipes for repair/replacement
- Use lasers, grade rods, and other tools to set pipe installation grades
- Ensure safety by following Blue Stake policy and operating equipment properly
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders

Requirements
- 2+ years experience in pipelaying/underground utility construction, or relevant education
- Proficient in the safe operation of hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Ability to read construction plans and follow safety protocols
- Knowledge of traffic rules and safety on highways
- Familiar with safety standards and Underground Facilities Law
