About the role

Location: KIMS Hospital, Maidstone, with travel to Sevenoaks Medical Centre and other Lyca facilities as required

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: Competitive – depending upon experience

We are seeking a strategic and visionary Head of Communications & Marketing to lead and shape our marketing and communications function. You will play a pivotal role in defining and executing our strategic marketing plans, enhancing our brand, and driving growth across KIMS Hospital, Sevenoaks Medical Centre, and the wider Lyca network.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership across all communications and marketing activity
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to support growth and business objectives
  • Oversee internal and external communications, ensuring consistent and effective messaging to enhance our reputation
  • Lead the evolution of our brand, website, and digital presence to align with long-term goals
  • Drive the launch of new services and marketing initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing marketing team and manage relationships with external agencies

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years’ experience in marketing and communications, ideally within consumer healthcare
  • Proven track record in strategic campaign planning, PR, digital marketing, and brand development
  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and budget management skills
  • Ability to think both creatively and strategically, balancing short-term execution with long-term planning
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure
