Role: Client Growth Officer
As a Client Growth Officer, you will play a key role in growing Skill To Will’s business by connecting with FMCG companies, understanding their sales capability challenges, and offering relevant training and consulting solutions.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has worked in FMCG sales, understands market realities, and now wants to move into a consulting, client management, and business development role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
You will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities with FMCG companies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reaching out to FMCG companies and presenting Skill To Will’s training and consulting solutions
- Understanding client requirements and identifying opportunities for new projects
- Building strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Converting client challenges into relevant training or consulting solutions
- Supporting business growth through consistent follow-ups and client engagement
2. Client Requirement Understanding
You will work closely with clients to understand their business challenges, especially related to sales teams, market execution, distribution, productivity, and capability building.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding the client’s sales structure, market challenges, and team capability gaps
- Identifying opportunities where Skill To Will can add value
- Coordinating internally to design the right solution for the client
- Ensuring that client expectations are clearly understood and communicated
3. Service Implementation Support
You will be part of the service implementation process and help ensure that projects are delivered smoothly and professionally.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting diagnostic market work to understand business dynamics and field-level challenges
- Coordinating with trainers, consultants, and internal teams for timely execution
- Ensuring that the right solution is delivered with the right quality
- Supporting smooth implementation of training and consulting projects
- Tracking project progress and ensuring proper reporting
4. Client Relationship Management
You will be responsible for maintaining strong and professional relationships with clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building long-term relationships with client teams
- Ensuring client satisfaction during and after project implementation
- Collecting feedback and identifying future business opportunities
- Submitting reports and updates on time as per requirement
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who has a strong FMCG sales background and wants to grow into a consulting-led business development role.
Qualification
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG Sales
- Should have worked as a Sales Officer or above
- Experience in handling distributors, retailers, market execution, sales teams, or territory management will be an advantage
Skills Required
- Good English communication skills
- Strong presentation and client interaction skills
- Good understanding of FMCG sales and market execution
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to understand business problems and suggest practical solutions
- Strong follow-up, coordination, and relationship-building skills
Location
Delhi NCR
Candidates who are currently outside Delhi NCR but are willing to relocate to Gurugram are also welcome to apply.
Salary
As per industry standards and based on candidate experience.
