About the Company
Bongchie India Private Limited is a New Delhi-based manufacturer and distributor of smoking accessories and rolling products, including pre-rolled cones, rolling papers, roach books, and related products. Founded in 2014, the company serves domestic and export markets and has built a strong offline distribution network across India. Its portfolio includes brands such as Perfect Roll, Mozo, Thrice a Day, Twice a Day, and Trippy Baba, giving the business a recognized presence across multiple product lines. As the company expands into modern retail and digital commerce channels, it needs commercially strong leadership to grow platform relationships, protect margins, and strengthen brand visibility in fast-moving commerce environments.
About the Role
This role owns the company’s quick commerce business across major delivery platforms and turns platform access into measurable revenue, margin, and visibility gains. The position sits at the center of commercial execution, requiring direct ownership of platform relationships, assortment growth, promotional planning, seller portal hygiene, and performance review. It is a hands-on role for someone who can balance commercial discipline with day-to-day execution and cross-functional coordination. Success depends on building trusted partnerships with platform teams, translating business targets into account plans, and ensuring stock, listings, campaigns, and reporting all work together to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day business performance across quick commerce platforms and use platform relationships to expand revenue, visibility, and assortment. Maintain strong working cadence with category, commercial, and media teams to convert account opportunities into business results.
- Build platform-specific business plans, JBP inputs, and growth forecasts that link sales targets to commercial actions. Use these plans to guide revenue growth, profitability improvement, and expansion across cities, dark stores, and product lines.
- Manage assortment expansion, SKU launches, combo packs, and catalogue quality so products are easier to discover and better positioned on each platform. Use sales and category data to remove weak SKUs and strengthen the mix.
- Plan and optimize platform advertising, sponsored placements, and promotional activity to improve visibility and conversion. Track ROAS, CTR, sales uplift, and other campaign metrics to reallocate spend toward the best-performing levers.
- Maintain seller portal accuracy across pricing, offers, content, images, categorization, and compliance. Resolve listing issues quickly with internal teams so platform execution stays clean and customer-facing information remains reliable.
- Monitor GMV, revenue, contribution margin, market share, stock availability, and customer feedback to identify gaps and opportunities. Present clear performance reviews, forecasts, and corrective actions to senior leadership on a regular basis.
- Coordinate with supply chain, procurement, production, finance, marketing, and warehouse teams to keep products available for launches, promotions, and ongoing demand. Use demand signals and campaign plans to reduce stockouts and support smoother execution.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- Strong working knowledge of quick commerce business models and the platform ecosystem, including how category, commercial, and media teams influence account performance. Apply this understanding to improve growth, visibility, and account health.
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, dashboards, and data analysis. Use these tools to build reports, identify trends, and support faster commercial decisions.
- Hands-on experience with seller portals, catalogue management, pricing updates, and promotion execution. Use platform tools accurately to keep listings compliant, discoverable, and commercially effective.
- Clear understanding of platform advertising, campaign management, and performance metrics such as ROAS, conversion rate, CTR, GMV, and contribution margin. Use these levers to improve business returns and visibility.
- Strong commercial judgement, negotiation ability, and relationship management skills. Use these strengths to influence platform stakeholders and secure better outcomes for growth and category expansion.
- Familiarity with ERP, inventory, and order management systems, plus reporting tools such as Power BI or Looker Studio. Apply these systems to connect demand, stock, and performance data across teams.
Additional Plus
- Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, D2C, personal care, food and beverage, or retail brands is a strong advantage because these categories typically require disciplined platform execution and sharp commercial planning.
- Exposure to platform campaigns, JBP discussions, and multi-city expansion is helpful because this role needs someone who can grow accounts beyond routine operations.
- MBA or postgraduate study in marketing, sales, e-commerce, or retail management can add value when translating business goals into account strategy and reporting.
What You'll Bring
- A track record of owning platform relationships and turning them into measurable account growth, supported by disciplined execution and strong follow-through.
- The ability to connect sales, visibility, inventory, and campaign activity into a single operating rhythm that improves revenue and profitability.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, with the confidence to spot issues early and act on them before they affect performance.
- A collaborative working style that helps finance, supply chain, marketing, and operations teams move quickly around platform requirements and business priorities.
