About the Role
We are looking for a Key Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of bank clients. This is not a support role. You will be the primary relationship owner for some of our most important accounts, responsible for renewals, expansions, and ensuring clients see measurable value from the Creditas platform.
You will need to understand our clients' businesses well enough to spot problems they haven't fully articulated yet, and connect those problems to solutions we can deliver. That requires equal parts relationship depth, commercial hunger, and product fluency.
If you're someone who gets energised by a difficult stakeholder conversation, who thinks offensively about accounts rather than defensively, and who wants to own outcomes rather than manage processes then this role is for you.
What You Will Do
- Own end-to-end relationships with a portfolio of bank and financial institution clients, serving as their primary point of contact at Creditas
- Drive account retention and revenue expansion through proactive identification of new use cases, cross-sell opportunities, and product expansions
- Lead quarterly business reviews, renewal conversations, and executive-level stakeholder meetings with confidence
- Work closely with product, solutions, and engineering teams to translate client needs into deliverables and ensure successful implementation
- Monitor account health proactively; identify risks early and address them before they become problems
- Build relationships across multiple levels at each client organisation, not just with a single champion
- Represent the voice of the client internally, influencing product roadmap and prioritisation decisions
- Stay deeply informed about the BFSI landscape - what clients are dealing with, what competitors are offering, and where the market is moving
What We Are Looking For
- 1 to 4 years of experience in account management, client success, or enterprise sales
- Experience working with or within fintech companies, banks, or BFSI institutions is preferred — familiarity with how these organisations make decisions, prioritise vendors, and measure success will give you a meaningful head start in this role
- Proven track record of owning and growing client relationships, not just maintaining them
- Comfortable holding commercial conversations; renewals, pricing, value articulation, without needing to be hand-held
- Strong product fluency — able to understand a technical platform well enough to consult on it, not just describe it
- Excellent communication and executive presence — someone you'd be comfortable putting in a room with a Head of Cards or a Chief Digital Officer
- Analytical mindset — able to use data to tell a story about account performance and business impact
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, early-stage environment where the playbook is still being written
- Mumbai-based or willing to relocate

- A delivery or project management role where someone else owns the commercial conversation
- A role for someone who needs a lot of structure and process to operate effectively
