Job Summary
EVM is looking for a highly driven and experienced Key Account Manager – Marketplaces to manage and grow our business across Amazon, Flipkart, and Swiggy Instamart. This role is ideal for someone who understands marketplace business deeply and can independently handle platform communication, relationship management, commercial follow-ups, and business development with marketplace teams. The person will be responsible for driving product listings, business visibility, assortment expansion, sales growth, and most importantly, ensuring strong coordination with platform buyers/category teams to secure and improve Purchase Orders (POs) and overall account performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end business relationships with Amazon, Flipkart, and Swiggy Instamart.
- Act as the primary point of contact for marketplace account managers, category managers, buying teams, and internal cross-functional teams.
- Drive business growth by improving assortment presence, visibility, promotions, and account performance across marketplaces.
- Work closely with marketplace teams to secure POs, improve PO frequency, and maximize business opportunities.
- Follow up aggressively with platform stakeholders for listings, onboarding of new SKUs, deal participation, campaigns, visibility opportunities, and seasonal business plans.
- Coordinate internally with sales, supply chain, warehouse, finance, catalog, and marketing teams to ensure timely execution against marketplace requirements.
- Track stock availability and ensure readiness against upcoming PO opportunities and business events.
- Monitor sales performance, fill rates, stock-outs, pending orders, claims, returns, and other account-level issues, and resolve them proactively.
- Prepare weekly and monthly business reviews for each marketplace account.
- Identify opportunities for range expansion, better product placement, higher conversions, and stronger revenue contribution from each portal.
- Maintain strong commercial discipline around pricing, margins, promotions, and settlement-related coordination.
- Support the planning and execution of marketplace events, campaigns, and strategic initiatives in coordination with internal marketing and operations teams.
- Keep close watch on competition, category movement, pricing shifts, and marketplace trends to recommend business actions.
Required Experience
- Mandatory: Prior hands-on experience working with Amazon, Flipkart, and/or quick-commerce / marketplace platforms in a similar role.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in marketplace account management, e-commerce sales, or online key account management.
- Proven experience in handling communication with marketplace teams and driving business outcomes.
- Experience in getting POs / managing replenishment discussions / platform-side commercial coordination will be strongly preferred.
- Candidates from consumer electronics, mobile accessories, IT peripherals, FMCG, D2C, or similar fast-moving categories will be preferred.
