This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn and grow within the Human Resources field.
Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Support
- Assist with new employee paperwork from start to finish, ensuring all forms are completed, processed for payroll, and properly filed
- Update multiple HR and payroll systems for new hires and terminations
- Assist with new hire orientation and preparation of onboarding materials
- Complete employment eligibility forms (I-9) and review for accuracy
- Provide weekly updates on new hires and terminations
Administrative & Benefits Support
- Prepare and mail required employee notices, including Medicare Part D, CHIPRA, 401(k), and other compliance-related communications
- Complete verifications of employment and coordinate information requests for authorized agencies
- Track employee benefits enrollment throughout the year
- Process monthly invoices for benefits, boot vouchers, and HR systems
- Prepare reports as needed for the Director of HR and management
- Follow up with employees and managers in a clear, professional, and timely manner on unresolved items
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications
- Associate’s degree preferred or a combination of education and related experience
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field preferred but not required
- Customer service or administrative experience strongly preferred
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn HRIS and payroll systems
