What you will do
We are seeking a Finance Data Lead – Data Quality with strong functional expertise in finance data and master data, combined with working knowledge of data and reporting tools. This role will be responsible for owning, monitoring, and improving the quality of finance master and transactional data, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and fitness for reporting and regulatory needs.
The ideal candidate brings deep understanding of finance processes (FI, CO, COPA reporting), experience in data quality management and issue resolution, and the ability to use tools such as SQL and Power BI to analyze, validate, and monitor data. This is a business‑driven data role, not a pure engineering role.
Define, monitor, and manage data quality rules, checks, and controls for finance data (accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness).
Support issue intake, defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution of data quality issues, working with upstream and downstream teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in finance data, financial reporting, data quality, or data governance roles.
Strong understanding of finance data domains such as FI, CO, COPA, master data, and financial reporting.
Hands‑on experience with data quality management, data validation, reconciliations, and issue resolution.
Understanding of finance concepts such as P&L, Balance Sheet, Cost Center, and Legal Entity structures.
Exposure to tools such as KNIME, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms (functional usage; deep engineering not required).
