The Principal at Ken Research holds a pivotal leadership position, responsible for driving the growth and strategic direction of the consulting practice. This role entails managing key client relationships, spearheading high-impact engagements, nurturing the consulting team, and driving the firm's organizational initiatives. With a sharp focus on business development, team performance, and strategic delivery, the Principal acts as a business owner—balancing client success with firm-level growth.What will you be doing?Business Management & Strategic Sales• Lead and drive key account mapping, outbound consulting sales, and relationship deepening with strategic clients.• Own the proposal development and kick-off process for high-complexity projects, ensuring accurate need evaluation and solution design.• Play a consultative role in business pitches and be the voice of the firm for high-value engagements.• Contribute to annual revenue growth targets through upselling and consultative sales approaches. Client Engagement & Strategic Advisory • Act as a strategic advisor to CXOs and senior decision-makers across industries, ensuring alignment of consulting solutions with client goals.• Represent the firm in executive-level discussions and maintain trusted long-term relationships.• Oversee client satisfaction metrics, repeat business rates, and client account expansion strategies.Organizational Leadership & People Development• Lead and drive organizational-building initiatives, refining go-to-market approaches, domain specialization, and capability enhancement.• Work closely with Partners to align consulting strategy with the firm's overall vision and business priorities.• Drive internal initiatives such as culture development, L&D planning, and cross-practice collaboration.• Manage team performance, motivation, and career development for high-impact deliveryProject Oversight & Resource Allocation• Engage selectively in project kick-offs, milestone planning, and solution framing; minimal day-to￾day project execution.• Ensure strategic resourcing and allocation of talent across consulting projects, balancing delivery timelines and employee well-being.• Maintain an optimal resource pipeline and oversee project-level planning across key accounts.Performance Monitoring & Coaching• Actively coach Engagement Managers and Consultants, setting performance expectations and providing developmental feedback.• Influence team culture through regular skip-level connects and upward feedback loops.• Ensure high team satisfaction scores, reduced attrition, and succession planning across verticals.
