ABOUT KEARNEY OPERATIONS SYSTEM (KOS): The Kearney Operations System (KOS) is a global platform consisting of Kearney's best capabilities, expertise and digital tools/methods while leveraging a differentiated delivery model for our clients. KOS equips our Kearney teams with leading edge analytics, practical technologies, proven change management frameworks, and a range of specialized knowledge relevant to both immediate and long- term objectives. KOS includes a team of specialized consultants with deep expertise in sustainable supply chain and procurement transformation. The team has hands-on experience in implementation of leading digital tools and frameworks in ESG and sustainable supply chain planning. OVERVIEW OF THE KOS ESG – SBA ROLE: The Sr Analyst will be integral to client project delivery and development of CoE offerings and tools. This is key role in executing ESG, Scope 3 and sustainable supply chain management solutions with a focus on continuous process improvement. SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. CLIENT DELIVERY: Support global client teams (remotely or at the client site) in designing and executing ESG projects, particularly on decarbonization, Scope 3, sustainable supply chain and procurement solutions 2. CLIENT DEVELOPMENT: Proactively contribute to existing client development initiatives by: • Working in dynamic environments with varying client needs and project requirements. • Willing to step into different roles and collaborate seamlessly to achieve project goals. 3. KOS COE DEVELOPMENT: This would involve multiple aspects: • Work with the firm leaders in supporting and executing the strategy for the CoE. • Contribute to the knowledge creation by codifying and publishing papers/reports. • Developing assets or tools which are readily usable by clients in ESG context. • Support CoE leaders in driving outreach and penetration. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field from a reputed institution. 1-3 years of experience in ESG, decarbonization, sustainability, Scope 3 or procurement roles (experience in sustainable procurement is a strong plus). Basic understanding of ESG frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP) and supply chain sustainability standards, and carbon accounting frameworks like GHG Protocol and IPCC (especially for Scope Familiarity with supplier sustainability assessments and tools such as EcoVadis, Sedex, or similar platforms. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with ESG data tools is a plus. Passion for sustainability and eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-evolving field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent ownership and collaborative teamwork skills. Excellent project management skills with ability to collaborate seamlessly across functions. Comfortable with analysis of large data sets. Proficient in using excel and macros for analysis. Use of analytical tools (like PowerBI, Qlikview, Tableau) is a plus.
