1. Framework Architecture
• Build a clean, scalable architecture tailored to requirements, rather than relying on Katalon’s default template project or placeholder structures.
• Build Scalable Testing platform and avoid manual-style test creation
• Experienced on framework designing e.g. proper patterns (page objects, flows, utilities, base classes etc), not the out-of-the-box test case building methods intended for non-technical users.
• CI/CD Strategy and implementation
2. Standards & Best Practices
• Establish naming conventions for objects, test cases, keywords, and page classes.
• Set coding guidelines (no hard-coded credentials, proper waits, reusable flows instead of raw WebUI steps).
• Own the Git branching strategy and code review process.
• Collaboration and Code Review
3. Documentation
• Provide documentation explaining the architecture, folder structure, and how to create new tests.
• Prepare onboarding materials so the team can contribute without confusion.
4. Team Support
• Guide the team through first test cases, review their changes, and ensure consistent usage of the framework.
• Help select initial scenarios for smoke automation and plan their implementation.
5. Deliverables
• Be ready to present the architecture, the test-building process, and how it scales.
• Write, debug and execute complex automated scripts
