Assist in deterring criminal or other disruptive activity including patient/family/staff conflict or other disruptive behavior from those visiting the Hospice House facility.Work closely with staff in diffusing inappropriate behavior by visitors and handle accordingly to include documentation, notification and arrest if needed pursuant to KCPD Policies and Procedures. Assist with identification/admission of visitors and other guests during evening and after hours.Make regular rounds of the facility, both interior and exterior patrols. Identify any unusual activity and respond accordingly.Escort staff and visitors to and from their vehicles to the facility.Document observations during the shift on the Daily Activity Log which is provided, communicating any immediate issues of concern to the Charge Nurse or Administrator On-Call. Submit completed written foul' at the end of each shift.Make any recommendations or observations as appropriate to assist KCH in creating a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff by reporting such information on the Daily Activity Log. Able to assist with other events as requested, i.e. emergency evacuation of patients from the facility
