JOB DETAILS
The Laboratory Technician - Machinist is responsible for Quality Control, Technical Service and R&B support of existing products and new products to support the needs of customers. Requires knowledge of CNC machines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output.
- Ensure that product documentation and paperwork are completed properly and clearly.
- Take precise measurements of samples.
- Machine composite and resin specimens.
- Lay up of composite materials.
- Operate tile saw, drill press, CNC/surface grinder machine, band saw.
- Perform housekeeping duties and assignments to maintain a clean and safe working environment in the Process areas.
- Follow all safety procedures and all company and department policies and procedures.
- Assist with team activities, attend monthly safety meetings and any other scheduled meetings.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
