This position will primarily teach 6th grade students but may occasionally teach 8th grade courses as needed. The minimum requirement for this position is a bachelor's degree (degree and course credits must be from a domestically or internationally accredited college or university). The ideal candidate should possess highly skilled, cutting-edge teaching abilities, be able to engage in whole-child education, and cultivate the 'E Ola!' learning outcomes.

About the company

Kamehameha Schools is a private educational trust established in 1884 by Bernice Pauahi Bishop, the last member of the Kamehameha dynasty. As Princess Pauahi's vision of 'ho'ōla lāhui' or 'to revive the people' inspires us to create a thriving, vibrant future for Native Hawaiians. As an educational institution, students are at the center of all our work. Kamehameha Schools provides a dynamic, innovative, and collaborative work environment for those who embrace culture and diversity, have a growth mindset, and understand that 'pilina' (building internal and external relationships) is crucial to our success. We are committed to strengthening Hawaiian cultural identity throughout the organization and finding the right people for the right roles to infuse our mission with talent and passion.
