Job Description
As a key account manager, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and enhancing relationships with our clients. Your primary focus will be on ensuring our clients successfully integrate and leverage our APIs and SDK solutions to transform their businesses and meet their strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and enhance customer relationships through proactive communication and strategic account management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing technical guidance and business insights related to our API and SDK products.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and objectives, ensuring their goals are met through effective use of our solutions.
- Conduct regular review meetings with clients to discuss their usage of our products, address any issues, and identify opportunities for additional services, including crossselling and upselling.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, product management, and technical support, to advocate for client needs and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Develop customer onboarding materials and provide training to clients on new features and updates.
- Monitor customer health metrics and develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Analyze customer data to report on successes and areas needing improvement, and provide strategic recommendations to both clients and internal teams.
- Drive increased revenue through effective crossselling and upselling techniques, identifying opportunities to expand client usage of existing products and introducing new product enhancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in customer success or account management, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services.
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel skills (data analysis, reporting, dashboards, lookups, pivot tables).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong understanding of APIs, SDKs, and their application in financial services.
- Proven track record of fostering lasting customer relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively drive customer growth and revenue through strategic crossselling and upselling.
- Experience in tech products, SaaS cloud products, and any role.
- Experience in dealing with Enterprise customers would be preferred.
- An understanding of SaaS and BFSI would be preferred.
- A basic understanding of APIs would be preferred
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks with effective resolution of conflicting priorities.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
