Schedule: Day Shift  from 7AM - 4PM Monday - Friday. Flexibility with hours required as well as evening and weekend work with advance notice.   

Location: Clermont, Florida

Compensation: $17 - $21 based on experience

Travel and Lodging: Ability to be flexible with occasional travel throughout FL job sites as needed  

Responsibilities:

As a Materials Handler at Kalos Services, you will play a crucial role in the efficient handling and transportation of materials to and from the warehouse to the jobsite located across the state of Florida. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading construction materials from trucks, trailers, and other delivery vehicles.
• Organizing and staging materials in designated storage areas to ensure accessibility and efficiency.
• Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move and transport materials safely and efficiently.
• Assisting in inventory management by accurately counting and documenting materials as they are received and dispatched.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure materials are delivered to job sites on schedule and in accordance with project requirements.
• Following all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Performing general maintenance tasks on equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Assisting with other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support overall project operations.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds with or without an accommodation.
• Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push, pull, and sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing to work in an outdoor, active construction site.
• Prior experience or work in the construction industry is preferred.
